check always for subway service change:
http://mta.info/service (& choose New York City Transit)

For F users this Sunday:

F trains are rerouted via the C line from Jay St to Euclid Av

Weekend, 12:01 AM Sat to 5 AM Mon, Jul 31 - Aug 2

F trains run between 179 and Jay Sts, then are rerouted via the C line, making local stops between Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts and Euclid Av.

G service is extended Stillwell Av, during this time.

Accordingly...

To Stillwell Av (Brooklyn-bound):

Transfer at Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts to a Coney Island-bound G train that is making all F stops to Stillwell Av.

To Manhattan:

Transfer at Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts to a Jamaica-bound F train, or a 207 St-bound A train.

Note: At Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts, look for directional signs posted on platform columns.

However, if you can use D/N/Q/R, rather use them to reach R train - Union St station. It's faster & simpler.

From D/N, switch to R at Atlantic Ave.
From Q, switch to R at DeKalb St.
If you're on R, stay with it until you'd reach Union St (Brooklyn.)

Share on 8/1/10 has no featured guest set.

BUT of course, it means that we'll do our classic(!) the audiovisual openjam taking place ALL-NIGHT-LONG!

SHARE is always 100% FREE!! (no admission!)

We'll be open on Sundays!! (Check for possible time/schedule change frequently!)

Show up early!! and stay late!!!

Bring your equipment/instruments/gear etc. to join the jam!

We generally receive audio &/or visual participants - not necessarily digital. Analog &/or acoustic instruments (analog synths, acoustic string/horn/percussion/etc instruments), homemade gadgets, film/slides (if you'll bring a necessary projector), etc. are happily invited!
SHARE loves all kinds of experiments with things including (but not limited to) various sensors, collaborative programming, soldering on-site (if you'll bring soldering equipment), making low-key toy instruments (circuit bent or not), contact microphones, live projections /reflection/refraction, cooking, knitting, etc! Your suggestions/inputs are always more than welcome!

SHARE is a place to communicate, collaborate, and experiment.
Mistakes are more than welcome at SHARE!
Come & participate, come & chill, or come & hang out!
All the fun is awaiting!

------------------------------------------
SHARE is first and foremost a platform to explore expression, in a variety of artforms. Through its weekly open jam sessions, SHARE.nyc engages its participants and spectators in a continually changing dialog on art and culture. As such, SHARE represents an ongoing exploration of collaborative performance as cultural exchange. It mines the relationship of artistic practice to cultural identity, remapping a multiplicity of cultural discourses. The act of creating artistic content in a multicultural collaborative context is a fascinating and natural extension of the SHARE concept.
